The winners of the coveted Danish and British camping trophies have been announced.
Danish Camping Award 2025: Winners announced
There was a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air when DCU Country Chair Anne-Vibeke Isaksen announced the winners of the prestigious Danish Camping Award 2025 at the "Ferie for Alle" trade fair in Herning on Sunday afternoon. With its festive ceremony, all 17 winners have now been determined.
In a total of 12 categories, the winners were chosen by campers themselves, while the winner in four categories in the topics of camping equipment and DCU of the year were selected by an independent jury of experts.
We are particularly pleased that one of our customers has also won this coveted award: Camping Villaggio Rubicone in Romagna, Italy, won the award in the Southern Europe category. This exclusive campsite on the Adriatic coast impressed the judges with its first-class comfort and outstanding service. Congratulations!!
We also warmly congratulate the other nominated customers who made it into the top five: Camping Zaton (Croatia), Camping Grubhof and Camping Woferlgut (both from Austria). Given that there are thousands of campsites in Europe, simply being nominated is an impressive achievement and proof of the high quality of these businesses.
Success in Birmingham too: British camping Oscar for Camping Grubhof
It wasn't just in Denmark that there was cause for celebration: outstanding campsites were also honoured at the Caravan Camping & Motorhome Show in Birmingham, one of the most important events in the British industry. A jury of experts selected the winners in categories such as "Progress & Innovation", "Sustainability & Environment" and "Most Attractive Site".
The two main prizes are a particular highlight: the Overall Winners Awards from Alan Rogers and the Caravan & Motorhome Club. This year, the title "Overall Winner Caravan & Motorhome Club" goes to our customer Camping Grubhof!
For over 25 years, the Stainer family has been living by the motto "experience nature and enjoy comfort" at their campsite in the middle of the breathtaking Salzburg mountains. This dedication has now been honoured with one of the most prestigious international camping awards.
