The DCC European Prize 2024 is awarded

... and the Oscar goes to...

As usual, this year's Europe Award ceremony took place as part of the "Reise & Camping" trade fair in Essen. After a successful warm-up with good conversations, this year's award winners were honoured on the Friday of the fair in an atmospheric setting.

The German Camping Club (DCC) has been honouring the best of the best campsites with this award since 1996. For campsites that have already received a DCC European Award and have been able to maintain or even improve their high level of quality, the Platinum Award has also been available since 2014.

We would like to contratulate our customers as well as the other award winners this year. On behalf of the entire team at Sonnenplateau Camping Gerhardhof, Peter Bußjäger and Tobias Hafele received the coveted award on behalf of Austria. The campsite, which is opened shortly before COVID pandemic, is characterized above all by its unique location and the highest quality standards on site.

Contessa Orsola Rizzardi and Riccardo Giammaroni accepted the coveted award from Italy, more precisely from Lake Garda. La Rocca Camping Village in Bardolino is the favourite destination of many campers on Lake Garda. Set in 8 hectares of Mediterranean-style gardens, the site is located directly on the lake with a 300 metre beach and private footbridge.

Congratulations to the two Platinum winners, Königlicher Campingpark Sanssouci in Potsdam/Berlin and Bravoplaya Camping-Resort, on this truly outstanding achievement!
