Award ceremonies in Great Britain, Germany and Denmark - IGL customers again among the winners
The NEC camping exhibition in Birmingham was - for the first time - the venue for the popular Alan Rogers Award Ceremony on 22nd February 2023.
In addition 2 overall winners from Alan Rogers and the Caravan & Motorhome Club, awards were also presented in the categories "Progress & Innovation", "Welcome Award", "Sustainability & Environment", "Small & Charming", "Dog Friendly", "Family Award", "Most Attractive Site", "Most Accessible Site" as well as "Exceptional Services & Facilities Award".
Two of our customers were able to enjoy the coveted trophies. The 5-star Ferienparadies Natterer See was able to prevail over its competitors in the category "Family Award". In particular, the brand new playground and adventure area, which is not only fun for the little ones, but also the other very family-friendly facilities of the campsite with its Nature Resort made it easy for the jury to vote for this paradise.
As runner up in the category "Welcome Award" the 5-star Camping Bled can be pleased. This camping resort impresses with its extraordinary location on Lake Bled as well as its typical Slovenian hospitality, which you can feel here from the very beginning!

Only 2 days later, the popular DCC Europe Award winners as well as the DCC Europe Platinum Awards were presented at the Reise & Camping fair in Essen. Again, some of our customers were happy about these valuable awards.
Rado Urevc, our friend and partner, can be happy about the trophy "DCC Europe Award Winner" for the second time! Already in 2006 he won this award, at that time still as manager of Camping Sobec in Slovenia, this year he can be happy about this trophy as meanwhile retired manager of Camping Spik, a 4-star campsite for active holidaymakers at the edge of the Triglav National Park!
Another award winner this year comes from Austria, more precisely from the Tyrolean mountains. We may congratulate Camping Zugspitzarena Ehrwald very much for the award "DCC Europe Award Winner 2023"! This 5-star resort at the foot of the Zugspitze is characterized by elegant luxury and impresses as a perfect starting point for summer and winter active vacationers.
Very special congratulations go to the "DCC Europe Award Winner in Platinum" to the Caravan Park Sexten, which has truly earned its 5 stars. Not only with its pitches, which are available from 150 sqm, but also with its wellness area, its rental properties perfeclty integrated into nature and its culinary offers, this place belongs to the superlative in Europe!
Also, at the fair in Herning campsites were celebrated and awards were presented. At the fair "Ferie for Alle" the national chairmen of the DCU (Dansk Camping Union) was allowed to present the 12 prizes to the lucky winners. We are especially pleased that in the category "Foreign Camping of the Year" not only the winner, Camping Zaton from Croatia, but also another 2 nominees, Schlosscamping Itter from Austria and Camping Bled from Slovenia are among our customers!
