Start of the camping season with the ADAC camping gala

For most of us, the beginning of the year in camping is very routine. The annual trade fair kick-off takes place at the beginning of January at the CMT in Stuttgart. On the evening before the official opening, numerous partners and customers were delighted to have been invited by ADAC to the annual Camping Gala, which was again celebrated in a wonderful setting.

On this evening, not only the camping guides "Nordeuropa" and "Südeuropa", hot off the press, will be presented, but also four awards will be given to the best campsites.

This year too, IGL customers could look forward to one of the coveted awards. Union Lido Vacanze from Cavallino-Treporti can look forward to this award in the topic "Demographic change and accessibility" - not only young and old feel at home on this campsite, but innovations are also being made in the area of accessibility.

The "Innovation and Progress" award this time went to Istra Premium Camp Resort in Croatia. The campsite, which belongs to the Valamar Group, was rebuilt and reopened last year and impresses with its large selection of restaurants, a large entertainment programm for all ages and the unique architecture of the entrance area.
