First virtual ADAC Camping Gala
The corona pandemic is still keeping the world in suspense and all trade fairs and events at the beginning of 2021 have been cancelled. This is also the case with the annual ADAC Camping Gala as part of the CMT in Stuttgart, which normally opens the new camping season.
Cancelled? No - not with the ADAC! The team around Uwe Frers set heaven and hell in motion to allow the fixed point to take place in mid January - as virtual event - but in the ususal perfect manner.
The gala evening was moderated by two well known faces in the camping industry. Cornel Straver and Simone Ponkrandt! The two slipped into a classic gala robe and were really able to convince with their talent for moderation. After a brief overview of the past year, moderated by PiNCAMP CEO Uwe Frers, the laudations for the coveted ADAC Camping Award started.
These were again awarded in 4 categories "Sustainability & Environmental Awareness", "Innovation & Progress", "Demographic Change & Accessibility" and "Online Marketing and Digitalization". In addition, one person per year is introduced into the "Hall of Fame" for services to the camping industry. Another happy year for the IGL team, as two of their customers were able to take the conveted trophies home with them.
We warmly congratulate the team of Ferienparadies Natterersee from Tyrol as the winner for "Innovation & Progress"! We are also overwhelmed that the Aminess Maravea Camping Resort in Croatia was able to win the "Online Marketing and Digitalization" award. Both winners are an example of the really high quality development of the camping industry!
We also like to join our congratulations for Camping le Paradis in the category "Sustainability & Environmental Awareness" and Parque Cerdeira for "Demographic Change & Accessibility" as well as camping visionary Anton Harms for being accepted into the "Hall of Fame".
We are already looking forward to seeing all winners and customers at next year's ADAC Camping Gala in Stuttgart and wish you all good health, success and a good start into the 2021 camping season!
